DTLA Legal Billing Coordinator

The Legal Billing Coordinator should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience and will be responsible for managing the firm's full-cycle legal billing process, including electronic invoice submission, pre-bill review, invoice finalization, client billing compliance, and billing system maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal billing experience, strong knowledge of e-billing platforms, and a thorough understanding of law firm billing practices and client guidelines. Legal Billing Coordinator Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle legal billing, including pre-bill review, invoice editing, revisions, and final invoice submission.
Prepare, submit, and monitor electronic invoices through various legal billing platforms.
Ensure compliance with client-specific billing guidelines, outside counsel requirements, legal industry billing formats and coding standards.
Resolve billing rejections, discrepancies, short-paid invoices, appeals, and client billing inquiries.
Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and finance personnel to support monthly billing cycles, reporting, and reconciliation efforts.
